Came in to ask for a room for Tina for tomorrow night..  She wanted to be out of the house she was staying in with her ex boyfriend.  Lee Andrew Paige came in with her…for support or to speak for her.  There was a distinct smell of alcohol anyway.  I’m sorry, but we don’t give hotel rooms any more.  I offered our food pantry. And gave them other resource numbers such as Fish, Catholic Charities Salvation Army and you, Cory.

We did help Janet Tipsword with a gas voucher to take her granddaughter to Mt Vernon for an appointment today at 4:00 p.m.

Gave $20 gas voucher to Satisha Hill to help her take her aunt from Hospital back to Vandalia.

Also on March 10, I gave gas voucher to Gail Colburn who told me she was on her way to New York .  Sorry I was late to report. St. Johns also helped her.

We had Jodi Larimer stop by today for a gas card.  He is trying to get to Vandalia to be with his ex wife.  Her children are with their father in Hawaii at a military base. We didn’t have any more gas cards to give.  We have helped him several times.  He has started coming after church office hours to see if someone will help him.

Just wanted to pass the word on.

We gave a $10 gift card to Walmart for gas to a Gail Coburn from Cold Brook, NY.  She said she was heading back home to New York and had to replace her brakes which took all her money.

Alicia Rodriguez & her brother stopped by this afternoon at 4pm, requesting gasoline.  Gave them a voucher for $15.  They were traveling in a nice, red pickup truck.      Bob Spriggs, Sac. Ht.

I gave a room to Charlie Carroll at the Effingham motel for tonight. Mr. Carroll has been in Effingham 3 days. One day at the hospital. The hospital gave him a room at the Motel 6 last night.  He wants to go north to Champaign and eventually into Michigan.  I offered a bus ticket but the the bus leaves at 6am and he had no way to get to it.   He hopes to catch the train north. I told him I could not help him anymore. If anyone has the funds it would be nice to help him move on.
