Rachel Yinker, Alan Maxwell - April 18

We gave a food sack to Rachel Yinker.  She said her freezer quit and she lost all the food in it.

 

We gave a sack of food and a $10 gas card from Wal-mart for an Alan Maxwell.  He came to Effingham to fight a ticket he received and needed to get back to Mattoon.  He said he’s been living out of his car.

Patsy Boyd called for motel room stating house was flooded. Put phone on hold and called American Red Cross for phone number for people who need help in disaster situation.  A man came on the phone and took the phone number.

Bryce Jones came in wanting gas. He was here visiting his brother, Bryan. He said he needed to get home to Centralia. We gave a gas voucher for 5 gallons. See email sent.

We gave Albert Spearman a $10 gas card at Walmart.  He said he was heading back to Mississippi.  His driver’s license had address of Shannon, MS.  Have a great week.

April 5 - Ashley & Mark Dziabula

We had a couple, Ashley & Mark Dziabula, come today at 1PM.  He supposedly had a job here in town and it fell through.  We gave him an emergency bag of food.  They asked for help with their motel bill, but we did not assist them with that.  He said their room was paid through today.
