We assisted Melvin Hair with a train ticket to Chicago leaving this evening at 6:52 p.m. and a food voucher at Martins IGA. He said he was coming from Orlando, FL and going to Chicago for a job. He was supposed to be there today but did not make it.

Called to talk to our Pastors.  He wanted money for food on a bus trip back to California. (Someone helped him with bus tickets.)  We have a policy now that we do not give cash.  We have a small bag of food to give out and sounded interested, but hung up when he could not talk to the pastors "because sometimes they will give money."
