Becky Pharis

Becky is from Altamont & works for an elderly woman at Collonade Apartments. She needed gas for travel to & from work on Mon, Wed & Fridays. Said she was short on cash due to school supplies for her Jr. High daughter. Gave her a $20.00 gas voucher.

Robert

Monday, August 22--Helped a man named Robert at the Super 8 Motel in Effingham who is stranded here until the 1st & needed food for his family (wife, brother, 2yr old & 3 yr old). We took him KFC & some milk & apple juice. Said he was going to get food from Catholic Charities on Tuesday.

Daniel A. Prien

Came in first thing Monday morning. He said he's been here all weekend and couldn't get anybody to help him. Said he was staying at truck stop. We gave him a train ticket to Chicago.

Alene Gatti

Alene wanted lodging for 2 rooms at the Vandalia Travel Lodge. We paid for 1 room. Her family has exhausted the churches in Vandalia and also received help from St. Elmo.

Donald L. Wilson

Driving large chevy van. Coming from Arizona and going to Toledo, OH. Gave 5 gallons of gas.

Etheridge Campbell

Came in wanting bus ticket to Bloomington IN. Said he came here to be with girlfriend and she left him and he has no way to get home. Has been here since April. We usually do not help with anyone who has been here for awhile but we helped him with bus ticket to Terre Haute. Later noticed he was on here May 3rd. Will not help again.

Derrik Stephens

Mr. Stephens called wanting gas. Coming from Michigan. Going to Memphis. Said something about mother being sick. Came thru back in May and we gave him gas at that time. Did not help again.
