Bryan came by today and said he and his 5 children had their electricity shut off.  He asked for a night stay somewhere, but we no longer give that kind of assistance.  We gave him a $10 gas card. St. John's Lutheran in Effingham

Came in to say she lost her apartment.  She told us she is mentally disabled and her mother also has a mental illness so she would not let her stay at her home in Altamont.  She claims she lost her apartment because she did not take care of her pet. 

We do not usually help with a room any more, but in this case we made arrangements at the Abe Lincoln.
Gave her a bag of groceries.

Just got out of military and heading home to family. FISH split a train ticket with us to get him home to MN.
