Called wanting bus ticket to Wyoming. Said from Michigan but coming from Connecticut. Said totaled car but have no police record because it was at someone's private residence and they will scrap car. Said some nice people let them use hotel room to call but when confirmed with hotel, the room was actually in her name and she told hotel she was alone. Did not help because not being honest and was not adding up. Even when confronted with what I knew, she kept being dishonest.

Mike called and said he was trying to get back to Arkansas. He and his wife were in Champaign visiting his mother in hospital? He said his truck broke down and ran out of money. He said he didn't know anyone here and has never stayed here. He said he was staying with sister in Champaign. Upon research he and his wife have been here for months and received help from multiple agencies. I denied help.

May 3, 2012 - Mr. Lawrence came in saying he was just released from jail and needed to go to a shelter. Said the shelter in Mattoon would not let him go there and he was not allowed in Coles County??? Kept flashing multiple sex offender copies from internet and when asked why he had so many copies he just laughed. Gave him a bus ticket to Champaign.

Jamie came in today (4-19) wanting help with gas and food.  She said her husband was in jail and she was living in a hotel with 3 kids.  We gave her a box of food, but had limited resources since they don't have any kitchen facilities in room or microwave.  We could not help her with any gasoline.
