APRIL BARTELS

April came in to get a gas card to get to a meeting in Mt. Vernon.  She did not have a driver's license.  Said she had misplaced it.  We could not give her a gas card. St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham

JENNIFER RANDAL

Jennifer called wanting help with rent.  We assisted her in May 2011 with food and gas card. She said she was in an abusive relationship and that her father was trying to help her.  We offered her our food pantry, but she hung up.

JAIME BREWER

Jamie came in today (4-19) wanting help with gas and food.  She said her husband was in jail and she was living in a hotel with 3 kids.  We gave her a box of food, but had limited resources since they don't have any kitchen facilities in room or microwave.  We could not help her with any gasoline.

CHRISTIAN BENDER

CHRISTIAN BENDER came in needing help to get back to Nebraska.  We gave him a gas card and an IGA food card.   He went to North Carolina for a carpentry job and was robbed of all his money and tools.  St. John's Lutheran Church, Effingham
