Rachel Tinker

Rachel Tinker came in yesterday (9-26)  and said she and her boyfriend were thrown out of their trailer.  We had helped her in August with a gas card.  We gave them a bag of food and a list of organizations that might offer a hotel stay.

Rachel came in again today (9-27) wanting another gas card to go get electricity turned on an apartment.  We did not help her again.

Came in wanting gas. He said he was going home to San Francisco. Also said he had appointment with public aid tomorrow morning at 8:30 to get food stamps. When I called them, they said he told them he planned on staying around awhile. He is a sex offender and living out of his van. He has a warrant out for him in Louisianna??? He is to come back in the morning after his appointment with Public Aid.

Called to talk to the Pastor about a family issue.  Said she'd been a visitor here and was moving to Effingham.  Pastor helped her son (Shane) with "emergency cash."  She has been calling to talk to Pastor again and gets irate when he is not available.  We will not help again.  (would offer our Food Pantry.)

Called asking for bus ticket to Des Moines IA. He said he's from NC. We helped back in 2008 and he has been through town since asking for help. We will not help again because he keeps coming through town.
